This is the very first set in Altenew’s new “Build-a-Garden” category…. and it is gorgeous! It includes a stamp and a coloring stencil. The stamp is very large, which gives it so much flexibility! I stamped the image as one complete image on a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of cardstock, and then trimmed the large piece to make two separate cards using different techniques. I hope you like them!
There is also a GIVEAWAY from Altenew with this hop! [See below for details!]

My first card is made with the left side of the stamp, a beautiful single bloom:
- The background panel is cut from colored cardstock and then run through with the Brick Wall 3D Embossing Folder.
- I stamped the image with Morning Frost Crisp Dye Ink.
- Next I colored it using the Warm Gray, Tranquility, Delectable Delights, & Coffee Break color families of Artist Alcohol Markers.
- I stamped the sentiment from the set with Warm Gray ink.
- Then I attached the front panel to the background panel with foam tape for dimension.
- Finally I added a few colored pearls as embellishments.

For my second card, I used the right half of the stamp, which is another, larger beautiful bloom:
- The background panel is colored cardstock.
- I stamped the image with Morning Frost Crisp Dye Ink.
- I colored this image with the Tranquility & Nature’s Wonders Color Families of Crisp Dye Inks, using Detailed Blending Brushes and the Coloring Stencil that goes with this set.
- I stamped a sentiment from the set.
- I added additional interest & texture by running the whole image through with the Beautiful Baroque 3D Embossing Folder.
- The embellishments are plain pearls that I colored with the Nimbus Artist Alcohol Marker.
